Text
This article does not apply to a person engaged,
under regulation by the department of state revenue, in the business of
common carrier of persons or property by motor vehicle. If involved in
a reportable motor vehicle accident, a common or contract carrier of
persons or property by motor vehicle may be required, in the discretion
of the bureau, to file a certificate of exemption on a form the bureau
prescribes.
