Text

(a)If the individual who signs an application of a minor applicant dies, the minor permittee or licensee shall notify the bureau of the death and obtain a new signer.
(b)The bureau, upon:
(1)receipt of satisfactory evidence of the death of the individual who signed an application of a minor applicant for a permit or driver's license; and
(2)the failure of the minor permittee or licensee to obtain a new signer; shall expire the minor's permit or driver's license and may not issue a new permit or driver's license until the time that a new application is signed and an affidavit described in section 1 of this chapter is made.
