Text

A person may not employ an individual to operate a motor vehicle in a manner for which a for-hire endorsement is required unless the individual holds one (1) of the following:

(1)A valid driver's license issued under IC 9-24-3 with a for-hire endorsement.
(2)A valid commercial driver's license.
(3)A valid chauffeur's license issued under IC 9-24-4 (before its expiration).
(4)A valid public passenger chauffeur's license issued under IC 9-24-5 (before its expiration). [Pre-2016 Revision Citations: 9-24-4-5; 9-24-5-5.]
