Text

(a)A person that violates or fails to comply with an out-of-service order is subject to a civil penalty in accordance with federal law.
(b)A civil penalty assessed under this section:
(1)must be collected by the clerk of the court and transferred:
(A)to the motor vehicle highway account; or
(B)to the bureau for deposit in the motor vehicle highway account; and
(2)is a judgment subject to proceedings supplemental by the bureau. [Pre-2016 Revision Citation: 9-24-6-19.]
