5.

(a)A learner's permit issued in the form of a physical credential expires two (2) years after the date of issuance. A learner's permit expires upon the bureau receiving notice of the death of the holder or upon issuance of a subsequent physical credential.
(b)A motorcycle learner's permit expires one (1) year after the date of issuance. The bureau may not issue more than three (3) motorcycle learner's permits to an individual within a five (5) year period. A motorcycle learner's permit expires upon the bureau receiving notice of the death of the holder.
(c)A commercial learner's permit expires one hundred eighty (180) days after the date of issuance. The bureau may issue not more than three (3) commercial learner's permits to an individual within a twenty-four (24) month period. A co
