§ 9-21-8-14 — Following other vehicles; distance restrictions

(a)This section does not apply to a person who drives a motor vehicle in a vehicle platoon with respect to another motor vehicle in the same vehicle platoon.
(b)A person who drives a motor vehicle may not follow another vehicle more closely than is reasonable and prudent, having due regard for the speed of both vehicles, the time interval between vehicles, and the condition of the highway. [Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-4-1-73(a).]
