Text
The order, resolution, or ordinance shall fix the
gross weight allowed in percentage or maximum load prescribed in IC 9-20-4-1 and IC 9-20-5. An order, a resolution, or an ordinance does
not take effect until signs indicating the gross weight allowed on a
bridge, causeway, or viaduct are posted in a conspicuous place at each
end of the structure to which the order, resolution, or ordinance applies.
The signs must be legible from a distance of fifty (50) feet and must be
maintained during the time the reduction is in force.
