§ 9-20-6-14 — Local commercial motor vehicle ordinances
Indiana·Title 9 MOTOR VEHICLES·Art. 20 SIZE AND WEIGHT REGULATION·Ch. 6 Special and Emergency Permits
Except as authorized by this chapter or
otherwise expressly authorized by statute, a local authority may not
adopt or enforce an ordinance that requires an operator of a commercial
motor vehicle to obtain a permit from the local authority to operate the
commercial motor vehicle within the jurisdiction of the local authority.
