§ 9-20-6-12 — Conditions under which permits may not be issued
Indiana·Title 9 MOTOR VEHICLES·Art. 20 SIZE AND WEIGHT REGULATION·Ch. 6 Special and Emergency Permits
The Indiana department of transportation may not issue a permit under this chapter for the operation of a vehicle if any of the following conditions apply:
(1)The owner or operator of the vehicle has not complied with IC 8-2.1-24.
(2)The owner or operator of the vehicle has not provided the
Indiana department of transportation with the owner's or
operator's Social Security number or federal identification
number.
(3)The owner or operator of the vehicle has not registered the
vehicle with the bureau, if the vehicle is required to be registered
under IC 9-18 (before its expiration) or IC 9-18.1.
