Text
For the purposes of this chapter, the operation
of a vehicle or combination of vehicles in violation of a limitation in IC 9-20-4, IC 9-20-5, or IC 9-20-11 is a continuing offense and the venue
for prosecution lies in a county in which the unlawful operation
occurred. However, a conviction or acquittal in one (1) county bars a
prosecution in another county.
