§ 9-20-11-2 — Weight limitations
Indiana·Title 9 MOTOR VEHICLES·Art. 20 SIZE AND WEIGHT REGULATION·Ch. 11 Special Restrictions Concerning Garbage Trucks
A vehicle described in section 1 of this chapter may transmit to the surface of a highway, except an interstate highway, a gross weight of not more than:
(1)twenty-four thousand (24,000) pounds upon a single axle; and
(2)forty-two thousand (42,000) pounds upon a tandem axle
group.
