Text

A vehicle described in section 1 of this chapter may transmit to the surface of a highway, except an interstate highway, a gross weight of not more than:

(1)twenty-four thousand (24,000) pounds upon a single axle; and
(2)forty-two thousand (42,000) pounds upon a tandem axle group. [Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-8-1-12(e) part.]
