§ 9-20-11-1 — Application of chapter
Indiana·Title 9 MOTOR VEHICLES·Art. 20 SIZE AND WEIGHT REGULATION·Ch. 11 Special Restrictions Concerning Garbage Trucks
This chapter applies to a truck, a truck-trailer combination, or a truck-wagon combination that is either:
(1)a municipal waste collection and transportation vehicle:
(A)specially designed and equipped with a self-compactor or
detachable container;
(B)used exclusively for garbage, refuse, or recycling
operations; and
(C)laden with garbage, refuse, or recyclables; or
(2)a disposal plant transporting vehicle certified under IC 15-17-11 that is laden with dead animals or animal parts.
