Text

(a)A person that knowingly and falsely professes to have the qualifications to obtain a license plate for a person with a disability under this chapter commits a Class C misdemeanor.
(b)A person that owns a vehicle bearing a license plate for a person with a disability when the person knows the person is not entitled to the license plate for a person with a disability under this chapter commits a Class C misdemeanor.
(c)A person that knowingly and falsely professes to have the qualifications to obtain a placard under section 4 of this chapter commits a Class C misdemeanor. [Pre-2016 Revision Citations: 9-18-22-6; subsection (c) formerly 9-14-5-9.]
