Text
The operation of a vehicle in violation of section 9 of this chapter is a continuing offense, and the venue for prosecution lies in a county in which the unlawful operation occurred. However, a:
(1)judgment against; or
(2)finding by the court for;
the owner or operator of the vehicle bars a prosecution in another
county.
