Text

If the bureau:

(1)determines that a certificate of title is issued in error; or
(2)receives notification from another state or country that a certificate of title for a vehicle that was issued by the bureau has been surrendered by the person that owns the vehicle in conformity with the laws of the other state or country; the bureau may cancel the record of certificate of title in Indiana.
