Section 1 of this chapter may not be interpreted to prohibit the following:

(1)The voluntary contribution of an employee to a political party.
(2)The voluntary participation of an employee in a political activity, unless the participation interferes with the employee's performance or responsibility of the employee's job. [Pre-2016 Revision Citation: 9-16-6-2.]
