§ 9-13-2-23 — "Child restraint system"

Indiana·Title 9 MOTOR VEHICLES·Art. 13 GENERAL PROVISIONS AND DEFINITIONS·Ch. 2 Definitions

"Child restraint system" means a device that:

(1)is manufactured for the purpose of protecting children from injury during a motor vehicle accident; and
(2)meets the standards prescribed and definition contained in 49 CFR 571.213. [Pre-1991 Recodification Citation: 9-8-13-1.]
