§ 9-13-2-157 — "Roadway"
(a)Except as provided in subsection (b),
"roadway" means that part of a highway improved, designed, or
ordinarily used for vehicular travel.
(b)As used in IC 9-21-12-13, "roadway" means the part of a
highway that is improved, designed, or ordinarily used for vehicular
travel. The term does not include the sidewalk, berm, or shoulder, even
if the sidewalk, berm, or shoulder is used by persons riding bicycles or
other human powered vehicles.
