§ 9-13-2-106 — "Motor vehicle liability policy"
"Motor vehicle liability policy" means an owner's policy of liability insurance or an operator's policy of liability insurance that:
(1)is issued, except as provided in IC 9-25-5-10, by an insurance
carrier duly authorized to transact business in Indiana to or for the
benefit of the person named in the policy as insured; and
(2)insures against liability resulting from the ownership,
maintenance, use, or operation of a motor vehicle.
