Text
(a)There is created a nine (9) member special
funds board of managers (referred to as the "board of managers" in this
chapter) whose purpose is to promote the development and growth of
the convention and visitor industry in the county.
(b)The mayor of the second class city shall appoint three (3)
individuals to serve as members of the board of managers. One (1) of
those appointees shall be a representative of the city's business
community, and no more than two (2) of those appointees may be
members of the same political party. The mayor of the third class city
shall appoint three (3) individuals to serve as members of the board of
managers. One (1) of those appointees shall be a representative of the
