Text
A designating body may, by resolution, do the following:
(1)Impose a fee for filing an application to designate an area as
a zone or to approve a deduction. The fee may be sufficient to
defray actual processing and administrative costs associated with
the application.
(2)Establish general written standards for declaring an area as a
zone. The written standards must be reasonably related to
accomplishing the purposes of this chapter.
