Text
If a person who purchases a mobile home
assessed as personal property in a sale under this chapter fails to pay
the bid, the county treasurer shall offer the mobile home for sale again.
A purchaser who fails to pay the bid shall pay a civil penalty in an
amount equal to twenty-five percent (25%) of the bid. The prosecuting
attorney of the county in which the sale was conducted shall initiate an
action in the name of the treasurer of state to recover the civil penalty.
A civil penalty collected under this section shall be deposited in the
county general fund.
