Text
(a)The board may employ staff who shall
serve at the pleasure of the board and carry out the administrative
responsibilities assigned by the board. The board may delegate a
specific duty, authority, or responsibility assigned to the board under
this chapter to the staff.
(b)The department of local government finance shall provide the
board with the staff and assistance that the board reasonably requires.
(c)The department of local government finance may provide from
the department's budget funding to support the board's duties under this
chapter.
(d)The board may contract with accountants, financial experts, and
other advisors and consultants as necessary to carry out the board's
duties under this chapter.
(e)The board may adopt rules to implement the board's duties,
