§ 5-8-3-1 — Draft dodging; sedition
Indiana·Title 5 STATE AND LOCAL ADMINISTRATION·Art. 8 OFFICERS' IMPEACHMENT, REMOVAL,·Ch. 3 Disqualification by Violation of Federal Law
A person may not hold an office within Indiana, either by election or appointment, if the person has been convicted of:
(1)evading the Selective Service Act (50 App. U.S.C. 451-473);
(2)engaging in conspiracy or an attempt to defraud the
government of the United States;
(3)seditious utterances in violation of the laws of the United
States; or
(4)any other crime against the laws of the United States where
the sentence imposed exceeded six (6) months.
