§ 5-8-1-29 — Guilty plea or refusal to answer; not guilty plea
Indiana·Title 5 STATE AND LOCAL ADMINISTRATION·Art. 8 OFFICERS' IMPEACHMENT, REMOVAL,·Ch. 1 Impeachment and Removal From Office
If the defendant pleads guilty, or refuses to
answer the accusation, the court must render judgment of conviction
against him. If he denies the matters charged, the court must
immediately, or at such time as it may appoint, proceed to try the
accusation.
