§ 5-3-4-2 — "Governmental body" defined
Indiana·Title 5 STATE AND LOCAL ADMINISTRATION·Art. 3 PUBLICATION OF NOTICES·Ch. 4 Publication of Notices Containing Legal Descriptions
As used in this chapter, "governmental body" means any of the following:
(1)A state agency (as defined in IC 4-13-1-1).
(2)The legislative department of state government.
(3)The judicial department of state government.
(4)A political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13).
(5)A state educational institution.
(6)An instrumentality of the state that performs essential
governmental functions.
(7)The state lottery commission created by IC 4-30-3-1.
