§ 5-27-4-1 — Prohibition against acceptance of central bank digital currency

Indiana·Title 5 STATE AND LOCAL ADMINISTRATION·Art. 27 ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS TO·Ch. 4 Prohibition Against Acceptance of Central Bank Digital

A governmental body may not:

(1)accept payment made with a central bank digital currency; or
(2)require payment to be made with a central bank digital currency; for any service, tax, license, permit, fee, information, or other amount due the governmental body.
