§ 5-26-4-2 — Appropriation of money in fund
Indiana·Title 5 STATE AND LOCAL ADMINISTRATION·Art. 26 PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS·Ch. 4 Integrated Public Safety Communications Fund
The money in the fund is annually appropriated as follows:
(1)To the commission, for its use, subject to the approval of the
budget agency, in the acquisition, construction, equipping,
operation, maintenance, and financing of the system and state
user equipment for the system, including the payment of rentals
and other obligations under use and occupancy agreements or
other contracts or leases relating to the financing of the system
under IC 4-13.5.
(2)To the state police department, such amounts as determined
by the budget agency that are sufficient to enable the state police
crime laboratory to address any backlog of cases to be processed
by the laboratory. The appropriations under this subdivision are
subject to the payment of rentals and other obligations under use
and occupancy agre
