Text

(a)A subsequent public employer shall notify the preceding public employer in writing of the individual's hiring not later than ten (10) days after the individual's hire date.
(b)A public employer making a claim must, not later than thirty
(30)days after receiving notice under subsection (a), send:
(1)a claim to the subsequent public employer that complies with:
(A)section 14 of this chapter, if the first public employer is making the claim; or
(B)section 15 of this chapter, if any other public employer is making the claim; and
(2)a copy of the claim to the individual.
