§ 5-2-1-18 — Assistance to law enforcement officers or agencies; powers; supervision; compensation
Indiana·Title 5 STATE AND LOCAL ADMINISTRATION·Art. 2 LAW ENFORCEMENT·Ch. 1 Mandatory Training for Law Enforcement Officers
(a)The executive director or a member of the
training staff of the board, when assisting a law enforcement officer or
agency in either an advisory or active capacity, has the same powers as
the officer or agency receiving the assistance.
(b)When the executive director or a member of the training staff of
the board is assisting a law enforcement officer or agency, the
executive director or member of the training staff:
(1)shall serve under the supervision of the chief official of the
agency being assisted; and
(2)is not entitled to receive any compensation other than that
provided by the board.
