2. A board certified training center may provide basic training to a law enforcement officer who is:
(1)employed by a law enforcement agency that is a member
agency of the law enforcement training center; and
(2)not accepted by the law enforcement academy for the next
basic training course because the academy does not have a space
for the officer in the next basic training course.
