Text
(a)Except as provided in subsections (b) and
(c), "political subdivision" has the meaning set forth in IC 36-1-2-13.
(b)A hospital organized or operated under IC 16-22-1 through IC 16-22-5 or IC 16-23-1 is considered a political subdivision only for
purposes of IC 5-13-12 and IC 5-13-13.
(c)For purposes of IC 5-13-7 and IC 5-13-8, the term does not
include a city or a town.
