Text
(a)The following are immune from civil
liability for any act or omission related to any action under this chapter:
(1)The state.
(2)Officers, agents, and employees of the state.
(3)The system.
(4)The:
(A)board members;
(B)executive director;
(C)officers;
(D)agents; and
(E)employees;
of the system.
(b)In addition to the immunity provided under subsection (a), the
following are entitled to indemnification from the system for all losses,
costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, associated
with defending against any claim or suit relating to an act authorized
under this chapter:
(1)Officers, agents, and employees of the state.
(2)The:
(A)board members;
(B)executive director;
(C)officers;
(D)agents; and
(E)employees;
of the system.
