Effect of Negative Vote in Referenda.
(a)If in
a referendum the vote of the majority is negative, no member of the
retirement system may be included in a modification of the agreement.
(b)A subsequent referendum may be conducted upon the request of
the board or governing body. However, no subsequent referendum may
be conducted until one (1) year after a prior referendum.
