Text
Any participant who terminates his service
as an officer before accumulating fifteen (15) years of creditable
service may, in the manner and under the conditions provided in the
public employees' retirement law, again become a member of the
public employees' retirement fund. Upon payment of contributions and
interest required by the board, the withdrawing participant shall be
entitled to transfer creditable service standing to his credit under this
chapter to his credit under the public employees' retirement law.
