Text
Except as provided in IC 21-36-2, an
educational facility project is not subject to any statutory requirement
of competitive bidding or other restriction imposed on the procedure
for award of contracts or the lease, sale, or other disposition of property
with regard to any action taken under authority of this chapter. If,
however, the prospective lessee makes a request in writing, the
authority shall call for the construction bids in the manner determined
by the authority with the approval of the lessee.
