§ 35-48-2-5 — Schedule II tests

Indiana·Art. 48 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES·Ch. 2 Classification of Drugs
(a)The board shall recommend placement of a substance in schedule II under this chapter if it finds that:
(1)the substance has high potential for abuse;
(2)the substance has currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States, or currently accepted medical use with severe restrictions; and
(3)the abuse of the substance may lead to severe psychological or physical dependence.
(b)The board may recommend placement of a substance in schedule II under this chapter if it finds that the substance is classified as a controlled substance in schedule II under federal law. As added by Acts 1976, P.L.148, SEC.7. Amended by P.L.200-1987, SEC.8.
