§ 35-45-11-1 — Applicability of chapter

(a) This chapter does not apply to the use of
a corpse for:
(1) scientific;
(2) medical;
(3) organ transplantation;
(4) historical;
(5) forensic; or
(6) investigative;
purposes.
(b) This chapter does not apply to:
(1) a funeral director;
(2) an embalmer; or
(3) an employee of an individual described in subdivision (1) or
(2);
engaged in the individual's normal scope of practice and employment.
