§ 35-40-15-1 — Application
(a)This chapter does not apply to the death
of a person:
(1)under the care of a physician; or
(2)if the person's death may be the result of medical malpractice.
(b)This chapter does not affect the authority of the state police
department to conduct a new investigation.
