§ 35-40-11-1 — Victim's right to be heard at court proceedings
It is at the victim's discretion to exercise the
victim's rights under this article to be present and to be heard at court
proceedings, and the absence of the victim at a court proceeding does
not preclude the court from holding the proceeding.
