6.
(a)Neither the state nor a political
subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13) may:
(1)post bail for any person; or
(2)for the purpose of posting bail for any person, provide a grant
or other funding, directly or indirectly, to an entity that posts bail
for any person.
(b)A person that accepts donations for the purpose of depositing
cash bail for another person may not accept a grant or other funding,
directly or indirectly, from a political subdivision.
