§ 35-33-14-2 — Purpose
The county extradition and sheriff's assistance fund is established for the following purposes:
(1)Providing funding to offset the costs of extraditing criminal
defendants.
(2)Providing funding to train and equip law enforcement officers
in the county.
(3)Providing funding to offset other costs incurred by the county
sheriff's department in providing law enforcement services.
Money in the fund may not be used for any other purpose.
