Securing Attendance of Corporate Defendants.

(1)The court attendance of a corporation for purposes of commencing or prosecuting a criminal action against it may be accomplished by the issuance and service of a summons.
(a)A corporation shall be deemed in attendance for purposes of commencing or prosecuting a criminal action against it whenever an officer, director or counsel for such corporation is present. If such officer, director or counsel fails or refuses to appear, the court shall proceed with trial and judgment. As added by Acts 1981, P.L.298, SEC.2.
