Text

(a)An applicant seeking a commission as a notary public, including an applicant reapplying for a subsequent commission, must complete:
(1)a course of education; and
(2)an examination.
(b)A notary public must fulfill a continuing education requirement not to exceed two (2) hours of continuing education every two (2) years.
