Text

The public defense fund is established to receive court costs or other revenues for county reimbursement and administrative expenses. The fund shall be administered by the Indiana commission on court appointed attorneys (established by IC 33-40-5-2). Money in the fund may be used to pay the expenses incurred by the justice reinvestment advisory council under IC 33-38-9.5-2.2. [Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-9-14-1.]
