(a)The annual minimum salary paid by the state to a full-time prosecuting attorney described in section 6 of this chapter is equal to the minimum salary of the circuit court judge of the same judicial circuit as the prosecuting attorney.
(b)A prosecuting attorney of a judicial circuit, other than a full-time prosecuting attorney described in section 6 of this chapter is entitled to a minimum annual salary in an amount equal to sixty percent (60%) of the salary provided in subsection (a), except as provided by subsection
(c).
(c)A prosecuting attorney, other than a full-time prosecuting attorney described in section 6 of this chapter, of a judicial circuit:
(1)that has a population of less than eighty-five thousand (85,000) and that adjoins any county having a population of more than on
