Text
Except as provided in section 2 of this chapter
and upon the order of a judge trying a criminal case, the county auditor
shall pay to a prosecuting attorney, from funds in the county treasury
not otherwise appropriated and as a part of the costs of the trial, an
amount equal to the expenses necessarily incurred by a prosecuting
attorney in connection with the criminal action.
