(a)This section does not apply to a deputy prosecuting attorney appointed by a prosecuting attorney or to a special prosecutor.
(b)To be eligible to hold office as a prosecuting attorney, a person must be a resident of the judicial circuit that the person serves. [Pre-2004 Recodification Citation: 33-14-1-1.5.]
