Text

(a)This subsection applies to participants, survivors, and beneficiaries receiving benefits as of December 31, 2007. The amount of the monthly benefit received by a participant, survivor, or beneficiary as of December 31, 2007, shall be increased by two percent (2%). The increase under this subsection applies to monthly benefits paid after December 31, 2007.
(b)This subsection applies to participants, survivors, and beneficiaries receiving benefits as of December 31, 2008. The amount of the monthly benefit received by a participant, survivor, or beneficiary as of December 31, 2008, shall be increased by two percent (2%). The increase under this subsection applies to monthly benefits paid after December 31, 2008.
