§ 33-38-2-2 — Bailiff or sheriff; county with population less than 35,000
In counties having a population of less than
thirty-five thousand (35,000), the judge of the circuit court may appoint
a bailiff. However, if a bailiff is not appointed, the sheriff of the county
shall perform the duties of the bailiff.
